2008 U-12 Tournament: October 4, 2008....
Each year, a local one-day tournament is sponsored by Region 546 for the U-12 boys’ and girls’ divisions. This year, the 19th Annual Winnemucca Gold Soccer Invitational Tournament will be held on Saturday, October 4th. First games start at 8:00 a.m. at the Winnemucca Sports Complex. Teams from Elko, Spring Creek, Battle Mountain, Lovelock, Fallon and Reno have attended in recent years.
Volunteers are needed to prepare the fields, track game scores, referee, and assist the Tournament Coordinator. Parents of 10-11-12 year olds should consider volunteering!
For this day only, there will be no games for teams in the other age divisions.
