Region 546.......
AYSO Region 546 (2/E/546) serves the greater Winnemucca region, including Golconda, Grass Valley, Paradise Valley, and Orovada. Region 546 is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors. We are part of Area E (northern Nevada), and Section 2 (northern California, northern Nevada, Oregon, Washington, and Alaska).
Nearby communities of Battle Mountain, Lovelock, Elko/Spring Creek, and Fallon are served by their own regions.
Training for all volunteer positions is provided at the Regional, Area, Section, or National levels. Each year, a Sectional meeting is held (January, February, or March) where you can acquire certifications, attend training classes for coaching, refereeing, and other volunteer positions, and learn about all aspects of the game of soccer. In recent years, Sectional meetings were held in Sacramento, Reno, Las Vegas, Portland, and Seattle. The National office encourages regions to pay travel expenses so Board Members can attend the Sectional meetings.
